| Thanks to the reduced mass of the cobiax slab, the shearing force on the supporting elements has been reduced and the anti-seismic isolators could be set, thus giving a better seismic protection to the whole building. |

| Due to the too large deflection and despite a beam along a free slab edge, one had to recourse on the biaxial Cobiax Technology. Further to the statical solution the cobiax slab offers advantages on installation. |

| In view of the distinctiveness of the building with an exposed perimeter steel beam between the first and the second floor on about 6 m height, the lightweight flat slab solution of cobiax has been crucial for an optimised realisation especially considering the new seismic standards. |
