Due to the irregular pattern of the supporting structure and the oval opening in the centre of the second floor, a steel construction was initially planned to be built with a tight interlacing of steel beams. |

Solution |
| |
The cobiax flat slab in Linked Cage Modules CBLM is built on site on DOKA formworks and allows the complete elimination of the steel beams. Thanks to the factory pre-assembly of the modules the production time can be reduced to a minimum. The two floors of a total of 3200 m2 were executed within 2 months. |

Conclusion |

In view of the distinctiveness of the building with an exposed perimeter steel beam between the first and the second floor on about 6 m height, the lightweight flat slab solution of cobiax has been crucial for an optimised realisation especially considering the new seismic standards. |
